INSULATED 38'

AERIAL LADDER

The RH38 is a non-insulated telescoping ladder with a working height of 38 ft. (11.58 m). Featuring three sections for optimal effectiveness, this unit is ideally suited for small vehicles and jobs in confined spaces (e.g., backstreets).  A lifting ring located at the end of the second section is a standard accessory, enabling you to lift loads of 550 lbs (250 kg) in any position, regardless of carrier vehicles. That’s not to mention the many other benefits and options available to ensure that RH aerial ladder equipment meets your specific needs.

This unit can be mounted on different chassis like Ford Transit, Mercedes sprinter, Nissan NV 3500, Dodge trucks and vans and many more. Call us to see what we can do for your preferred chassis and configuration.

The use of STRENX steel comes in handy; you get the ruggedness and quality RH Aerial Lift Equipment is known for, and greater pay load normally associated with bigger rigs.  Feel free to contact us for more information.

BATTERIES

OPERATED

The connection of the auxiliary battery isolates the vehicle’s aerial lift equipment. The unit will work without the vehicle engine on. In any case, it will affect the vehicle’s battery; it is actually an additional security because if the truck’s battery needs a little “boost”, due to the type of connection, it can feed of the auxiliary battery. All our units have a two-way splitter between the auxiliary battery and the vehicle. We make no modification to your vehicle, only a wire is connected to the alternator which is used to recharge the auxiliary battery when the vehicle is running.

In addition, we can provide additional security by adding a system such as Ozone-tech. This product requires removing the keys from the ignition; press an activator button to operate the unit. Ozone-tech is perfect for fleet owners that want to have some control over the fuel consumption. The system ensures optimum battery management and will turn on the engine if the vehicle needs to recharge the battery to its maximum capacity.

Advanced

Design

& Engineering

RH Ladder uses advanced structural optimizing simulations to ensure safety and  enhance toughness. Our engineering approach considers all attributes such as weight, resistance, quality, performance and  manufacturability.

IMPORTANT

note:

This type of aerial ladder must be installed on vehicles whose GVWR (gross vehicle weight rating) is greater than 9,500 lbs (4,309 kg). Outriggers are generally not required. However, given the variety of configurations possible, outrigger requirements must be confirmed by means of stability tests performed on your bucket truck.

The same applies to the bucket’s load-carrying capacity (in other words, the maximum weight authorized to be carried in the bucket). Specifically, this telescoping ladder is rated to carry 350 lbs (159 kg); however, its actual load-carrying capacity depends on the carrier vehicle.

We encourage you to contact Robert Hydraulique to obtain more information on the restrictions and factors to be taken into account when installing RH telescoping aerial ladders so that you can meet the highest standards in quality and safety.

*** Always ensure that you are complying with all local regulations when installing bucket-equipped aerial ladders. Robert Hydraulique is not responsible for installations performed outside its production facilities
