RH20MFF

65' AERIAL LADDER

In our ongoing quest to offer new solutions for aerial work using a vehicle, the South Korean market has offered us new challenges in the fire truck industry. We are extremely proud that RH Equipment is going further and higher with the all-new RH20MFF.

This new product meets the growing need for versatility in the fire fighting industry, and especially for integration on a truck that is much lighter and more compact than industry standards.

You’re probably wondering what its name means?
RH « 20M » for a working height of 20 meters (65′) and « FF » for firefighter.

In this range of aerial lift, you can count on the following 2 models:

+ RH20MC designed for rescue mode
+ RH20MFF with firefighter/ water distribution options (RH55 same but shorter 17 meters)

New RH20MFF add on: a water distribution line that distributes 500 GPM to the basket and a directional gun. The RH20MFF ladder offers 272 kg (600 lb) of retracted basket resistance and 136 kg (300 lb) full extension basket strength. All mounted on a 5-ton vehicle.

The ergonomics of the basket has been revised and improved: the basket has an emergency folding ladder at the front to create a redesigned workspace. The deployment of the ladder allows a rescue 1.5 m lower than the basket floor.

Design and engineering have been reviewed to further improve the structural capabilities of our equipment.  Also, a unique roller system has been integrated for increased stability and user’s comfort.

At RH, we choose our materials thoroughly, which allows us to install our equipment on smaller vehicles while offering you maximum working height. As per the design of the RH20MFF, we use aeronautical grade aluminum as well as high Strenx specialized steel.

BATTERIES

OPERATED

The connection of the auxiliary battery isolates the vehicle’s aerial lift equipment. The unit will work without the vehicle engine on. In any case, it will affect the vehicle’s battery; it is actually an additional security because if the truck’s battery needs a little “boost”, due to the type of connection, it can feed of the auxiliary battery. All our units have a two-way splitter between the auxiliary battery and the vehicle. We make no modification to your vehicle, only a wire is connected to the alternator which is used to recharge the auxiliary battery when the vehicle is running.

In addition, we can provide additional security by adding a system such as Ozone-tech. This product requires removing the keys from the ignition; press an activator button to operate the unit. Ozone-tech is perfect for fleet owners that want to have some control over the fuel consumption. The system ensures optimum battery management and will turn on the engine if the vehicle needs to recharge the battery to its maximum capacity.

Advanced

Design

& Engineering

RH Ladder uses advanced structural optimizing simulations to ensure safety and  enhance toughness. Our engineering approach considers all attributes such as weight, resistance, quality, performance and  manufacturability.

IMPORTANT

note:

This type of aerial ladder must be installed on vehicles whose GVWR (gross vehicle weight rating) is greater than 9,500 lbs (4,309 kg). Outriggers are generally not required. However, given the variety of configurations possible, outrigger requirements must be confirmed by means of stability tests performed on your bucket truck.

The same applies to the bucket’s load-carrying capacity (in other words, the maximum weight authorized to be carried in the bucket). Specifically, this telescoping ladder is rated to carry 350 lbs (159 kg); however, its actual load-carrying capacity depends on the carrier vehicle.

We encourage you to contact Robert Hydraulique to obtain more information on the restrictions and factors to be taken into account when installing RH telescoping aerial ladders so that you can meet the highest standards in quality and safety.

*** Always ensure that you are complying with all local regulations when installing bucket-equipped aerial ladders. Robert Hydraulique is not responsible for installations performed outside its production facilities
